The work will also improve GO's ability to add more trains for the expansion to Acton/ Guelph and Kitchener/Waterloo. Part of the project includes a span installation over the Credit River near Armstrong Ave. that began last Tuesday and is to be complete by December. Last July, CN, which is carrying out the construction work on behalf of Metrolinx, as it owns the rail corridor, began working on the piers and abutment of the span.
