Submitted photo Due to the kindness of teachers and students at St. Brigid's Catholic Public School, about 250 Canadian troops serving in Afghanistan will receive a personally created Christmas card this Christmas. The idea was conceived by teacher Ramona Henderson, who invited other teachers to get onboard. Itinerant Arts Teacher Gina Hager had all her intermediate classes create cards, as well as Grade 1 students and Kindergarten classes taught by Henderson, Maria Chaves and Suzanne Hellewell Clews. The cards were sent free of charge by Canada Post to be in the hands of our troops in time for Christmas. Students helping out included, on floor front row, from left, Noah Kearney, Tristan Biley and Jackson Lynas. On floor, back row, are Morgan McMillan, Emma Butler, Sarah Hager, Isabella Santana, Thomas Harney, Evan Aikin, and Ariana Biello. In back, Alexa Tickner, Sofia Morson, Riley Shippel, Shannon Kennedy and Sabrina Randazzo.
