34 Independent & Free Press,Thursday, December 9, 2010 IN MEMORIAM Tim Wysocki December 12th, 2009 Our four lit candles for you! The first candle represents our grief and pain of losing you. It reminds us of the depth of love we have for you. The second candle represents our courage to confront our sorrow and to comfort each other for our loss, the change our lives will have without you in it. The third candle we light in your memory for the times we laughed, the times we cried, the times we didn't always agree with each other, the silly and fun things we shared, the care and joy you had given us and the SIMPLE MAN you really were! The fourth candle we light is for our love we hold for you still. We light these candles so you will always shine and shine upon us. As we enter the holiday season and share our memories with family and friends, we cherish the special place in our hearts for you always and forever ..... We thank you for being in our lives and making them so special to us. We will forever and always MISS and LOVE you!! Alcoa to Jesse's Journey The Alcoa Foundation's Georgetown branch once again stepped up to support a charity that is funding the fight against Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD). A $1,500 donation was made to the Jesse's Journey Foundation, named after Jesse Davidson, a London man who lost his life to the disorder last year at age 29. The local-area offshoot of Jesse's Journey, Eric's Amazing Race, was a car rally held Nov. 6 through the Flamborough/Halton countryside, which is dedicated to 10-year-old DMD patient Eric Morden of Oakville.
