Acton Branch of the Canadian Cancer Society will once again be selling their daffodils at Sobeys in Acton, starting Friday, April 1, from 5-9 p.m., and Saturday, April 2, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. On hand to check out the daffodils Friday were (from left) Acton Branch president and daffodil sales co-ordinator Cathy Gerrow, Sobey's store manager Mark Latimer, Acton Branch treasurer Shelley Cox and Acton Branch public relations officer Pat Kentner. The annual blitz night to kick off the campaign will be Wednesday, March 30, 7 p.m., at Knox Church Acton, when Sarah Bouma, Canadian Cancer Society, Ontario Division Manager of Research, will be the guest speaker.
