A message No injuries after two horses bolted Two horses got loose on Dundas Street Wednesday afternoon, but were safely corralled nearby at the First Student Canada bus lot. Neal Bertin, owner of Bertin Stables just east of Tremaine Road on Dundas Street, said two horses, new to the stables, got away from a handler as they were being led toward a field on the Bertin property. Bertin said horses are herd animals and tend to stay together. The adult equestrian horse and a pony ran along the north shoulder of Dundas Street for a kilometre. Drivers on Dundas slowed down, said Bertin, noting he doesn't believe the horses ever entered the highway. The animals were not injured.
