Muscat's goal gave the Silver Predators a 4-3 win over the Lucan Irish, avenging a 2-1 loss to the Irish during the preliminary round. The Edge juveniles began the month by earning gold at the Lloyd Ogilvie Memorial Synchronized Skating Competition in Chatham, the team's second medal in as many meets. Members of the juvenile squad are Nikhila Butani, Isabella Del Villar, Daniela Fisico, Morgan Harrietha, Isabel Heykoop, Jasmine Hines, Julianne Li, Taylor LockeRibble, Madison McCowan, Anna Nemcsek, Victoria Novak, Sarah Olivo-Espinosa, Hailey Roseland-Barnes, Madison Shaw and Olivia Xie. The team is coached by Michelle Snow and Pauline Caballero. Oakville's beginner IIA team added a silver medal in Chatham, a very strong showing in its debut performance. Chloe Blair, Ella Boone, Shaelyn Bowes, Elisa Giuliani, Dominique Greyvenstein, Victoria Ivankovic, Ashley Keyes, Chelsea Lorenz, Mina Mercetic, Shelby Sondej, Emilie Swailes, Meghan Tiplady, Sophie Vasquez, Aliyah Waters and Yasemin Zeki contributed to the medal win. The team is coached by Pauline Caballero and Jayda Everett. The Edge's juvenile and novice teams then competed at Mississauga's Winterfest meet. The juveniles placed sixth and the novices were ninth against teams from Ontario and Quebec. Most recently, the Edge's elementary and novice teams collected silver medals at Synchro Capers in Newmarket. The medal was the second of the season for the elementary team, which features Alysha Biffis, Katrina Chong, Lauren Collett, Jaime Dalby, Teja Garrido, Nicole Goverde, Sarah Hayman, Dawn Lazazzera, Victoria Morgado, Maddy North, Tegan Orr, Lesaundra Passafiume, Emma Rogers and Chole Ryan. The team is coached by Jayda Everett, MK MacDougall and Pauline Caballero. The novice squad consists of Veronica Correia, Emma Curtis, Madelyn da Silva, Delaney Dunford, Kayla Fabiano, Juliana Guiliani, Rebecca Hill, Melissa Hopkins, Kristen McKain, Cassandra Morgado, Caroline Neely, Alexa Shelley, Samantha Wong, Stephanie Wong, Amy Yamamato and Amanda Zimmerman. The club will send its juvenile, novice and adult III teams to the Ontario Regional Synchronized Skating Championships in Kingston this weekend.
