Police lost the vehicle, but subsequent investigation led them to obtain a search warrant for a Brampton home. The vehicle was recovered at the home during the search Sunday. Charged with possession of stolen property, one count of failing to comply with an undertaking and two counts of breach of probation is Peter Richard Van Arkel, 43. ··· Police received a call from a man at a pay phone at the Georgetown GO station about 4:20 p.m. Sunday reporting he had smashed the rear window of a vehicle by throwing a bottle at it. Damage was $500. When police arrived the man was waiting for them. Charged with mischief under $5,000 and two counts of breach of probation is Korey Savoie, 23, of Georgetown. ··· Police responded to the area of Meadowglen Blvd. and Mountainview Rd. about 6:10 p.m. Friday regarding a complaint from a citizen about someone driving erratically. Police stopped a driver there. Charged with impaired driving and having over 80 mg of alcohol in 100 ml of blood is Melissa Mulder, 30, of Georgetown. ··· The rear windshield in a vehicle parked at a Chaplin Cr., Georgetown home was smashed sometime between midnight and 4:15 a.m. Friday. Damage is $1,500. ··· Police report incidents of property damage in Halton Hills recently including: · A retaining wall at the rear of a Poplar Ave. home that was spraypainted with drug-related graffiti twice over the last few weeks. · A fence along a ravine near an Eastern Ave. residence that was spray painted with graffiti, including a swastika, sometime between Friday and Sunday. · Acton Skate Park was spray painted with graffiti (swastika) sometime Saturday or Sunday.
