God saw you getting tired, when a cure was not to be. So He closed His arms around you and whispered "Come to Me". You do not deserve what you went through, and so He gave you rest, God's garden must be beautiful, for He only takes the best. It broke our hearts to lose you but you didn't go alone, For part of us went with you the day God called you home. We love you Daddy and miss you terribly. Lots of Love, Diana, Lorne and Daniel VENDORS WANTED Individuals, Families, Artisans, Businesses welcome!! Holy Cross School Voiceprint is a success Congratulations must be extended to TV Cogeco in Milton. Together with the Halton Hills Accessibility Advisory Committee, The Independent & Free Press, our local cable channel now provides Voiceprint. Through their efforts people with low vision or who have other problems accessing regular printed material, are now able to listen to a selection of articles read on air from our community papers. This service is essential for these individuals because they now have access to information on local news, issues and community events within north Halton. Currently, two volunteer readers have taken the time to read a selection of articles on air with Councillor Jon Hurst reading the articles for the first couple of weeks. Now Cliff Lowe, husband of committee member Michelle Lowe, reads them each week. They are aired each week on Channel 14, on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. and on Fridays at 12 p.m., 12:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. Go to http://www.tvcogeco. com/milton/shows/1469tvcogeco-voiceprint for a schedule of air times. It is essential that businesses strive to remove all barriers to accessing their products and services. The Canadian Home Builders Association's President realized that approximately 15% of his potential market had a disability. These customers had previously been under served and seeing this potential, changed his business model. The Halton Hills Accessibility Advisory Committee would like to be made aware of local businesses' efforts towards eliminating barriers. We would be more than happy to applaud your efforts in a future article. If you are a local business person and you have made efforts in this regard, let your committee know by contacting Councillors Moya Johnson or Jon Hurst through the Town Of Halton Hills website http://www.haltonhills.ca/ townhall/councillors.php. Thanks again TV Cogeco for helping to remove barriers and improve our community. Claudia passed away on July 15, 2010 at her home in Senneville, Quebec. Throughout Claudia's final years, although she was unable to fully experience joy in her every day life, she did surround herself with photos of the people she loved to remind her of happier times. It is through photos of happier times, that we are all reminded of the joy she once knew and shared with her family. We are also reminded of her sharp intellect, her creativity and her love of quilting. We know that she is now free from her suffering. On May 2, 1938, Claudia was brought into this world by her parents Grace and James. On May 2, 2011 we remember Claudia's life and reunite her with her loving parents. Claudia is survived by her 2 children, Susan Butler and Tim Eastwood and 6 Grandchildren, Jamie Butler, Mitchell Butler, Drew Butler, Alexandra Butler, Aidan Eastwood and Morgan Eastwood.
