The swimmers' goal was to swim the equivalent of the 85kilometre distance it takes to cross Lake Ontario, which they easily accomplished, logging an impressive 107 kilometres. The annual Swim-a-thon is a major fundraiser for the club. This year's event raised an estimated $1,500, which will go towards keeping fees as low as possible for all swimmers.
