25 Independent & Free Press, Thursday, June 2, 2011 Jaguars moving on Georgetown Rebels' ball carrier Cory Carpenter is brought down by Christ the King's Nick Tibbits (centre) and Andrew Pundsack during their Halton high school junior boys' rugby semifinal playoff match last week at Kiwanis Field. The visiting Jaguars won 12-0 on tries by Aaron Rodda and Luc MacLellan, advancing them to this week's Halton Division II final against Oakville's undefeated Holy Trinity Titans, who claimed the championship with a 22-0 victory. The first-ever Halton rugby all-star team was announced this week and four Rebels were named to the Division II squad-- Carpenter, Nic Phillips, Bill Murphy and Alex Mackenzie.
