Police said the incident took place around 7 p.m., when a man entered the convenience store and demanded cash from the employee. During the robbery, the man lifted his shirt to show the handle of a handgun stuffed down the front of his pants, reported police. The suspect was given a small amount of cash and fled the store on foot. Halton police arrived on the scene and conducted an investigation, which included the use of a police dog, however, the man was not found. The suspect is described as a white male, in his mid-20s, wearing a black hoodie, black pants and white running shoes.
