DEATHS O'NEILL, Gary Passed away peacefully Monday, September 12th, 2011 at the Georgetown Hospital, in his 50th year, after a brief courageous battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Denise and loving father of Nicole, Kristofer and Owen. He was the loved son of Loran O'Neill and the late Elizabeth O'Neill. Gary will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his sisters Corrine and (Mike) Schutte, Debbie Winter, Lori and (Dave) Cooper and brothers Paul and (Debbie) O'Neill and Kevin and (Andrea) O'Neill and sisters-in-law Sandy and (Peter) Prescott and Heather and (Barry) Noseworthy. As the President of the International Union of Operating Engineers, he had been in this industry 30 years, pursued through family, volunteerism, golf and hockey memorabilia. Gary will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by many extended family members, friends and the Ontario Construction Trade. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Avenue, Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Friday September 16th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A celebration of life service will be held at St. James Catholic Church, 231 Morden Road, Oakville, ON L6K 2S2 on Saturday September 17th, 2011 at 1:00 pm. Reception to follow at Local 793, International Union of Operating Engineers, 2245 Speers Road, Oakville, ON L6L 6X8 at 2:15 pm. The family would like to express sincere thanks to Dr. Ken Deichert, Barb and the caring staff at the Georgetown Hospital for the loving care provided to Gary.
