The interior design of the new $13.2 million branch, which is scheduled for completion in December 2012, will use predominately blues, greens, and deep plums, combined with natural light, stone and wood. The interior design of the 34,400 sq. ft. facility is meant to echo the landscape of Halton Hills. "There is a great sense of `bringing the outside in' throughout our plans for this building," said Project Architect John Knox, vicepresident of Chamberlain Architect Services Ltd. "Halton Hills is blessed with an idyllic geography-- the winding Credit River, the Bruce Library board member Trail, the rolling hills of the Sheila Taylor stands in Niagara Escarpment, rural front of the board depictfarmland and greenbelt. Designer and Project Co-ordinator Kyle Nichols presented the floor plans, interior design and artistic renderings to about two dozen interested residents.
