The event, a fundraiser for Hope Place Centres, the only residential treatment centre in the Halton region for alcohol and drug addiction, will be held 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mold-Masters SportsPlex, 221 Guelph St. in Georgetown. The cost is $5 each with kids under age 10, free. Lunch is included. Raffle prizes include a signed Maple Leaf Reimer jersey, and also a certificate for a free "Learn to Skate" program from Milton Skating Club. If pledgers collect $100 they are entered into a draw for two Leaf tickets. Sponsors of this event as of press time are Milton Skating Club, Kiwanis of Georgetown, The Club at North Halton, JV Clothing, and The Georgetown Market Place.
