Born in North Battleford, Saskatchewan on January 6th, 1926. Gib worked at many jobs from delivering oil to becoming Canadian Director of U.P.I.U. He met the love of his life and married for 65+ years to Matilda "Maizie" (Stachiw). Gib enjoyed playing golf with his family and friends. He leaves behind two sons; Terry (Susan) and Dwayne (Karen); grandchildren Ryan (Emily), Shannon (Scott) and Sean (Jil). His great-grandchildren Cyril, Holden, Megan, Alexandra and Wyatt.
