"Under his leadership the Roundtable will be leading a major project in 2012 to develop a Cultural Master Plan for Halton Hills," said Penrice. "He also plays an active role in organizing the successful Big Daddy Festival held each Father's Day weekend." Thibault also acts as a Tourism Ambassador on behalf of the Halton Hills Tourism Committee and a trail captain on the Bruce Trail. He chairs the Economic Pillar subcommittee of the Town of Halton Hills Sustainability Advisory Committee. He is also active in sports, playing hockey and riding his bike. He and his wife Paulette have raised over $50,000 since 1995 in the Multiple Sclerosis Annual Bike Ride which now goes from Acton to Waterloo and back. Thibault is also a member of the Georgetown Choral Society, where in addition to singing he is a member of the executive, and chairs the marketing and promotion committee.
