FOLINO, Santa (nee Vescio) It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Santa Folino, surrounded by her family on Saturday January 21, 2012 in her 76th year after a very c o u r a g e o u s b a t t l e w i t h c a n c e r. Beloved wife of Guerino for 59 years. Loving mother of Pat (Sandra) and Aldo. Cherished grandmother of Alessandro, Robbie, Nicco and Kristina. Much loved sister of Letterina of Italy and sister in law of Giovanni (Giuseppina) and Victorio (Gina). Predeceased by her parents Felice and Teresa. In laws Natale and Anna. Brother Guerino and sisters Vincenza and Giuseppina of Italy. Santa will be forever remembered for her unconditional love for her family and adored grandchildren. Always a very kind and gentle woman. Loved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special Thanks for the warm, kind and compassionate care from the staff of Ian Anderson House, Doctor Alderidge and staff of St. Elizabeth Home Care nurse Victoria, Community Care Access workers Natalie, Christie, Lore-Jean, Noneth and Cynthia. Neighbours and life long friends Sam and Maria Simonetti, Rosa and Tony Folino. Friends will be received at the Oakview Funeral Home 56 Lakeshore Rd. West 905-842-2252 Oakville on Tuesday from 6-9pm and Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-9pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. James Parish 231 Morden Rd. on Thursday January 26th at 10 am.
