For 2012, the annual TD Summer Reading Club for children will once more be funded by the Friends of the Oakville Public Library -- engaging thousands of children to read their way through the summer, keeping their minds alert and their reading enthusiasm alive. Other specific projects supported are the development of a Teen Book Depot in the newly opened Queen Elizabeth Park Community & Cultural Centre (QEPCCC), Hands-On Technology Workshop, Write2Xpress Teen Writing Contest, Battle of the Books, Children's Book Club and much more.
