- Rebecca Dixon married Edward McCann, Jr. Ed and Rebecca carried on the McCann family farm tradition at Omagh. Ed died in Hamilton on February 26, 1921 at the early age of 56. The farm was passed on to his son, Cecil. Ed's underage children and Rebecca continued to live on the farm. Subject to providing a home for the three younger children were Ruth E. McCann, Howard F. McCann and Ellen K. McCann.
