Oakville went 6-0 in round-robin play, then swept the Acton Tanners in the final to win the Tri-County championship. The Rangers g outscored the Tanners 21-6 in their three victories, including an 8-3 whipping of Acton in the clincher, and finished the playoffs with 51 goals for and 19 against. Matthew Stubbert paced the Rangers' offence in the championship series, including a hat trick in Game 3. "These are a great g bunch of kids to coach," said Rangers head coach Dean Renpenning. "They worked hard all season and it was a pleasure to watch them celebrate." Oakville also won the Silver Stick regional tournament earlier this season.
