The sale will take place tomorrow (Saturday) in the hall of St. Cuthbert's Anglican Church, benefitting the Consignment show benefits Hands4Hope Hands4Hope charity. Thousands of gently-used clothes, toys, shoes and accessories will be available for sale. Eighty per cent of the sale proceeds will go to Hands4Hope, a friendship and fundraising club that was started by children, in support of children. Canadian children and their families are partnered with children at St. Edwin's orphanage in Kenya in a pen pal relationship. The Canadian families also make friendship bracelets for sale and put on fundraising events to support the work of the orphanage. The children at the Kenyan orphanage make paper necklaces and earrings, which are sold in Canada on their behalf. "We are thrilled to be the official charity for the Because Kids Grow consignment sale," said Sue Faber, leader of Hands4Hope, in a press release.
