The Hospital provides mostly primary care to the residents of the Town of Halton Hills, which includes the towns and villages of: Acton, Ballinafad, Churchill (Hamlet), Georgetown, Glen Williams, Limehouse, Norval (Village of), Stewarttown and Terra Cotta. Offering a wide range of primary care services, the Hospital's major clinical areas include emergency services, obstetrics, general medicine, surgery and complex continuing care. The emergency department, open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, provides service to more than 31,000 patients annually. The Obstetrical Unit's labour, delivery and post partum beds can accommodate seven patients and delivers more than 400 babies each year. The Hospital currently serves an urban and rural population of approximately 55,289. The population is expected to increase over the next several years.
