ALL plants are $6 each. KENTNER, Franklin "Bud" Albert Cecil Passed away peacefully on Monday May 14th, 2012 at Georgetown Hospital in his 96th year. Beloved husband of the late Gladys (nee Beaver) and of 53 years to Elizabeth "Libby" (nee Coffin). Predeceased his by parents Edith and Vance and his sister Peggy. Loving father of the late Jill, Mary and her husband Jasper, Bruce and his wife Susan and Grandfather to Justine and Poppy to Declan. Bud was born in Carman, Manitoba in 1916 and moved to Georgetown at the age of three. He graduated from the University of Toronto, College of Pharmacy in 1940 and after working in Toronto, Dryden and Crystal Beach, Ontario returned to Georgetown and opened Kentner's Pharmacy in Downtown Georgetown in 1947. At the time of his retirement in 1986 Kentner's Pharmacy was the oldest retail store on Main Street. Bud has kindly donated his body to the University of Toronto, School of Anatomy. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
