BODNER, Kathryn (Kay) Isabelle (Souther, Nee Lanigan)Sept 14, 1923 to March 23, 2012. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Kay from the loving arms of family to the waiting arms of her husband Wally (Walter) Bodner in heaven at the age of 88. She is survived by her son, Bill Souther; step children, David Bodner and Debi Weslock (nee Bodner); grandchildren Brittany Bodner, Graham and Erin Weslock; brothers, Raymond and Murray and sister, Vera Lambert; and many nieces and nephews. She was born in Rexton, N.B., one of 12 children. She served in the armed forces as part of CWAC in World War II. Most of her life was spent in Ontario. In 1982, she married Wally and they spent many years summering in Bobcageon, wintering in Florida and travelling to visit their many friends and family. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, serving over 60 years. She had a happy and loving spirit who had a positive impact on everyone she touched. She will always be in our hearts and we are thankful to have known her, laughed with her and shared her life.
