With the theme "Breaking Down Walls" it is our desire to make Bethel a shining light to the community of Acton, to not only praise God, but to help our community as needed. We understand that walls between the church, God and the community are both spiritual and physical. With God's help we can overcome and these walls will be removed. We believed that one of the big challenges in serving Acton was the size of our building. Our plans of growing our church facility from a sanctuary of about 250 to almost 500 seats and adding additional class rooms is a step of faith to do God's will in Acton. Fundraising was completed the end of 2011 and the building construction project was started in March 2012. During our regular site meetings with Hawkey Church Management (our construction manager) we can confidently say we are on schedule and budget to complete the building by the end of January 2013. The challenge is that we are only two months into the project and predicting the exact time and costing is still a challenge. Since the beginning of our construction project on March 19, we have hit the ground running. With the site plan approved by the Town and permits in hand, the walls were indeed "Broken Down".
