Second rally to protest Bill C-38 set for tonight The residents' group Reclaim Our Democratic Canada will hold a rally tonight (Wednesday) at the office of Oakville MP Terence Young, 165 Cross Ave., to continue their protest of federal budget bill C-38. The rally is expected to last from 5:20-6 p.m., and aims to encourage all MPs to vote against the bill, which protesters believe is trying to change too many laws too quickly and without enough examination. Reclaim Our Democratic Canada Co-ordinator Bev LeFrancois has described bill C-38 as a 452 page Omnibus Bill that makes modifications to 60 different laws, concerning the environment, immigration, pensions and employment.
