Charles leaves Grace, his wife of 72 years (married in London, England December 25th 1939), daughters Geraldine and Carla (Greg) and grandchildren Trevor, Graham and Talia. He served as a lieutenant in the Essex Scottish of Windsor. His career with Canada Customs and Excise spanned over 30 years in Windsor and Toronto. A private family burial will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday June 6th at Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens (glenoaks.ca) in Oakville. Her remarkable strength and courage characterized her personality in each stage of her life. She was a pillar of love and strength to her family and friends and faced her fight with breast cancer with the same tenacity that made her such an incredible woman her whole life. Isobel was wise beyond her years and a true role model. She enriched the lives of those who knew her through her genuinely kind and fun loving personality. Leaving behind great memories and a positive impact on those she encountered Isobel has made the lives of those who loved her better for knowing her. Survived by Katie and Lauren the children she adored and devoted her life to and her husband and best friend of 29 years, Rob Tight. Much loved daughter of Catherine and the late Daniel Kane, sister of Joseph Kane (Jeanette), Maureen Herricks (Colin), the late Danny Kane, and nephews Joseph Kane Jr. and Daniel Kane Jr. She will be greatly missed by her Auntie Mary Pfau, Uncle Bob Collett and cousins who were more like brothers, Ken and Dean Collett. Loving sister in law of Barb Worden, her husband Bill, nieces Beth, and Sarah. Dearly loved by her many friends. We are all left heartbroken but knowing we are very, very lucky for having had her in our lives. It is with a mix of sadness and beautiful memories within our hearts that we remember her. In 1951 Patricia was born in Winnipeg to parents Walter and Mary Claus who later moved to Toronto. Beloved Patricia and her husband Maurice were soul mates who fell in love at the age of 15 and have celebrated life through 37 years of marriage this past May. She was a quintessential mother to Adam, Daniel and Natalie. Her spirit lives on in them. She had a love for the natural beauty of the world and shared it with her family and friends. Her infinite generosity, smile, and absolute love for life and bubbly personality was contagious to all. Patricia is survived by her husband Maurice, her children Adam, Daniel and Natalie, her daughters-inlaw Simona and Leah, her grandchildren Claire, Zachary and Maya, her mother Mary Claus (Swystun), her loving sister Barbara Neshevich, brotherin-law Richard, nephews Eric (Liv and Luke) and Mathew and niece Vanessa and mother-in-law Ester Rosso. She leaves to mourn many aunts, uncles and cousins across Canada. She was predeceased by her father, Walter Claus and her father-in-law, Oscar Rosso.
