Bagg is the founder of the Peterboroughbased The Haunt Club. He began his ghost research in his early 20s after what he calls his first encounter with a spirit, the ghost of a woman who previously lived in his GTA apartment. "I really didn't care about ghosts up until I had my first experience with one, then my eyes were wide open. I became aware that we are more than physical muck and matter. That we are beings of spirit with a physical body," he said in a press release. "I can understand someone doubting the existence of ghosts, if they haven't had an encounter which they are aware of. But you shouldn't disclaim someone's experience as simply an issue of mental health, ignorance, or perhaps a cultural difference." Bagg says he has gathered photographic evidence of the existence of ghosts, spirits, angels, aliens, nature spirits, energy imprints, shadow beings and dimensional travelers. He calls ghost research a link between science and religion and says the experience has strengthened his relationship with God. "For me personally, ghost work did help me develop more spiritually. I don't see it as a religion though. It is a path I'm glad I've Cameron Bagg taken. I'm sure the journey is different for everyone, but I've grown as a being through knowledge learned in my research," he said. Bagg is currently on a lecture tour through 2012, which he calls The Year of the Ghost. The hall is located at 1494 Wallace Rd. The lecture runs from 3-5 p.m. Tickets cost $15, which includes a DVD copy of HSI: Ghosts. For more information, visit www. thehauntclub.ca.
