Volunteers have Spirit Eight of Oakville's outstanding volunteers were recognized at the Oakville Conference and Banquet Centre Wednesday, during the 11th Annual Community Spirit Awards. The awards, which can be received by individuals, groups, organizations or businesses, are presented to those who demonstrate ongoing leadership, dedication and involvement in Oakville. "Each year, Oakville residents volunteer countless hours that contribute enormously to the life and spirit of our community," said Oakville Mayor Rob Burton.
