Ribfest promises `something for everybody' By Dominik Kurek OAKVILLE BEAVER STAFF Regardless of age, everyone should have a great time at the upcoming Oakville Family Ribfest, which takes place June 22-24. The inaugural start-of-summer festival being hosted by volunteers and the Rotary Club of Oakville Trafalgar, will take place on the Trafalgar Road grounds of Sheridan College. "There's going to be a lot to do. If you're a young child or an older child, there's something for everybody," said Trish Peden, ribfest steering committee chair. The event will offer entertainment for both children and adults, vendors and, of course, the main attraction -- ribs. "We have all these food vendors with everything from cupcakes to Tiny Tom Donuts and the ribs and bloomin' onions and everything else," said Peden who advises those attending to come hungry. "Coming hungry is the thing to do."
