It had advocated for and received permission for an off-leash park at Post Park on the condition that they made a donation to the shelter. Each year, the event grew, eventually outgrowing Oakville resident Beverlie Rockliffe's home and moved to the grounds of Appleby College. Last year, Cause for Paws raised more than $105,000 for the homeless, forgotten, neglected and abused animals of Oakville and Milton. This year's goal is $120,000. Can You Afford To Wait?
