The Rebels will host teams from across Canada at Iroquois Lacrosse Arena Aug. 14-19 and the Halton Hills Bulldogs plan on winning their second national championship in three years. The Bulldogs took the title in 2010 and came within one game of returning to the tournament last year, but lost in the Ontario final in a fifth-and-deciding gamein Six Nations to the Rebels in a game that was abandoned with a minute remaining due to a full scale brawl on the floor. "We've got to get there first, but that's the goal," said third-year goaltender Dustin Hanzelka. "Once we get into the playoffs, I think it's a matter of coming out with all guns firing. We know the talent's here and we've done it before. We just have to put it all out on the floor." With the Rebels earning an automatic berth as the host, an additional spot in the tournament will be awarded to an Ontario team. Six Nations went 18-2 during the regular season and is looking to defend its 2011 Founders Cup title, so if the Rebels return to the Ontario final, their opponent will automatically gain entry into the national championship.
