Police said they received eight reports of valuables stolen from cars parked on various streets including Morning Dove Drive, Valley Forest Way, Ravine View Way and Howell Road. In these incidents, the suspects opened the vehicles' unlocked doors and stole anything of value inside. Police warn residents after several car break-ins The stolen items included GPS equipment, other small electronics and money. To prevent becoming a victim of this type of crime, police are advising residents to remove valuables from their vehicles at night or at least put them somewhere so they can't be seen from the outside. Residents are advised to lock their vehicles or park them inside their garage, if possible. Police are also asking residents to report any suspicious activity.
