Children, seniors and people with disabilities are among those set to benefit from Halton Regional funding. Regional council has approved funding for 26 community projects and programs through the Halton Region Community Investment Fund, which earlier this year underwent changes to increase the number of groups that receive financial support by introducing annual one-time grants in addition to multi-year funding. The total amount awarded for one-time grants and multi-year funding this year is $771,195.
