Standard and Poor's also attached a stable outlook to this rating, indicating confidence Halton will continue to demonstrate a strong budgetary performance. Over the past six years, Halton Region has one of the best records in all of Canada for keeping taxes low, with 2012 marking the third consecutive year in which Halton taxpayers did not see an increase in taxes while enjoying the same level of services in a growing community. Halton MPP Ted Chudleigh, Burlington MPP Jane McKenna and Elgin-Middlesex-London MPP Jeff Yurek toured the Oakvillebased craft brewery, as part of the Ontario PC Caucus' For Jobs and Our Economy tour. "For the last nine years, the McGuinty Liberals have walked around Queen's Park, racking up debt as if they've got an American Express black card in their back pocket. Well the credit card is maxed out and the province is in a jam," said Chudleigh.
