Fundraising co-ordinator Lisa Dale would only say the volunteers are needed for a new fundraising initiative the Canadian Cancer Society is hoping to hold in the Halton Region. Those looking to be on the leadership committee must be highly organized, motivated and creative with a passion for the community and helping make cancer history, said initiative organizers. A belief that dessert should always be eaten first and a wild `sweet tooth' were also listed as a must. "We have a new event concept that some of our other units have done actually up in northern communities, smaller communities," said Dale. "It is an idea that we are sort of playing with and we are just kind of putting our feelers out to see if there are people in the community who would be interested in helping with an event like this."
