"The project has created a lot of buzz in the Buffalo area... Our fans have really enjoyed the photos and the story behind the replica," says Hannah Buehler, the Bills' marketing communications manager. "I thought it was amazing in person. The detailing is incredible." Hall has taken his newfound celebrity in stride. "I'm okay with it," he says. "It really wasn't my plan, but if it's news and people like it, then it's fine with me." Hall hopes the publicity will help make building things out of LEGO, something he did with his sons when they were younger, remain popular with children. He says he notified LEGO about his creation a few weeks ago but received little interest from the toy building block manufacturer. However, the Bills reportedly had more success when contacting LEGO themselves. "This may even go to the NFL level, possibly having LEGO sponsor some things for kids," says Hall. Already planning next project The Ralph Wilson Stadium model will never leave Hall's basement, since it's both too large and too fragile to move. Carr murmurs that she eventually wants the basement back, wanting to turn it into a recreation area for the family to entertain friends. But Hall says he's never taking his Ralph Wilson Stadium apart, and he has no plans of giving up his LEGO laboratory anytime soon. In fact, he's already planning his next major project. "I've thought of building the 12th hole of The Masters (Augusta National Golf Club)," he says. "Yeah, I'm going to do that. It's a nice little par-3, and the colours would not be hard. I've got a lot of the dark green already." Carr likely won't put up much resistance, even if it takes up a lot of her husband's free time. She certainly prefers Hall tinkering around in the basement to the heavy hours he spent co-founding the Oakville Titans minor football program a few years ago. "He gets into the zone and it's like his little therapeutic off-time. He finds it a real stress reducer, and I don't ever be-grudge him. It's his hobby," she says. "You have to admit, it's a bit of an anomaly. I give him LEGO in his stocking stuffer, but we just embrace it and go with it. "I give him the little things for a five-year-old, and we laugh about it. But he's a pretty regular guy. He's not some weirdo holed up in his basement in the corner. He's a balanced individual," she adds. "It really makes me happy to think there's something that brings him such pleasure." -- Jon Kuiperij can be followed on Twitter @Beaversports ERIC RIEHL / OAKVILLE BEAVER / @HALTON_PHOTOG ALL THE SMALL THINGS: Bob Hall's LEGO replica of Ralph Wilson Stadium is intricate in detail, even including hash marks for each yard line.
