Among many special guest instructors teaching at the Senior Vocational Summer Camp was Roberta McClelland. Roberta is from London, England and a graduate from The English National Ballet School and The Royal Academy of Dance. Elizabeth and Roberta both studied at The Royal Academy of Dance, where they each achieved a BA (Hons) in the Art & Teaching of Ballet as well as the prestigious Licentiate Status. The studio is so very grateful for the amazing opportunity! As a result of the high standard of training provided at Balletomane, several Balletomane dancers were accepted into summer intensives at numerous prestigious schools across North America. Ani Ghaloosian and Lauren Luyks attended the Canadian Contemporary Dance Theatre Sundance Summer School. Katrina Del Villar travelled to Winnipeg for the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School Summer Intensive. Alana Greig attended the American Ballet Theatre Summer Intensive that was held in North Carolina. Meris Kieller danced at the Boston Ballet School Summer Intensive and Olivia Stanton attended Longmont Dance Theatre in Colorado. Olivia Tracey attended and received a full time acceptance at the National Ballet School of Canada and Balletomane alumna Kaitlyn DeLong was reaccepted into the National Ballet School of Canada for the second year!
