LANDRY, Margaret (1923-2012) Passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Ian Anderson House, after a brave battle with cancer. Born in Kemptown, N.S., she was a daughter of the late Murdock and Mary (Cameron) MacLean. Mom was predeceased by her loving husband of over 60 years, John (Jack). Also predeceased by her brothers John and Dick MacLean and sisters Agnes LeBlanc, Rose Winkleman, Catherine Matheson and Mary Warford. She will be sadly missed by sons Don (Louise), Oakville; Jim (Karen), Pennsylvania; Marilyn (Al), Milton; Mike (Beverly), Calgary and Karen, Oakville. Loving Grammy of John (Christine); Michelle (Stephen); Patricia (Matthew); Donald; Joe; Neil (Joanne); Perry (Mindy); Dorian (Jessica); Raymond (Zhenya); Lawrence and Mark (Emily). Cherished by Great-grandchildren, Patrick, Madeleine, Margaret, Luke, Grace, David, Danielle, Julie, Vincent, Sophie, MacKenzie, Alissa, Nicholas, Coral, Taylor, Damien, Skylah, Elysse, Robert, Sarah and William. Mom made many friends over the years, especially when she and Jack attended the many functions and card games at the Oakville Knights of Columbus Hall. Her list of friends grew during her short stay at the Vistamere Retirement Residence in Oakville. Visitation will be held at the KO P R I VA TAY L O R C O M M U N I T Y F U N E R A L H O M E , 6 4 L a k e s h o r e R d . W. , Oakville (1 block east of Kerr St., 905 844-2600) Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at Saint Dominic Roman Catholic Church, 2415 Rebecca Street, Oakville. Interment to follow at Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery, Dundas Highway, Oakville. Sincere thanks to Ian Anderson House staff for their loving care towards Mom. Special thanks are also extended to the wonderful staff of CCAC and Acclaim Health for all their support and always being there to help Mom and her family through a very difficult time.
