Hanna, owner of downtown Oakville's Ristorante Julia and north Oakville's Ritorno restaurant, succeeds outgoing chair Wendy Rinella. Speaking before an audience of more than 400 people at the Oakville Conference and Banquet Centre, Hanna stated that she has a hard act to follow and that she would work diligently to honour the legacy of the past chairs. "The Chamber and I are committed to doing everything we can to support all the businesses in Oakville because they support each and every Julia Hanna one of us," said Hanna. "I want to thank the board, and I want to tell all of you, I look forward to spending time with you. I have a restaurant where we can have our meetings."
