Murder suspect arrested here without incident Wednesday By Louie Rosella METROLAND MEDIA MISSISSAUGA A Mississauga man wanted for seconddegree murder in the death of his wife was arrested in Oakville Wednesday evening. Nelson Tayongtong, 39, had been `flagged' at all border crossings in Canada as he continued to evade police, but was arrested without incident and was scheduled to appear in Brampton court yesterday morning. Peel Regional Police were searching for Tayongtong after his wife, Aicha Saludares, was found dead Sept. 8. Family members found Saludares, 40, dead in her apartment at 480 Lakeshore Rd. E. and alerted police. The victim's body had obvious signs of trauma, but police aren't releasing the cause of death. Peel police said a tip led them to Tayongtong. Justin Lagatoc, a cousin of Saludares, said the victim was unhappy and wanted to end the relationship with Tayongtong. Saludares worked as a mortgage agent with the Canada Mortgage Store, according to her Linkedin account.
