Sampson, Nicholas (Died)
- Full Text
SAMPSON, Nicholas Beloved husband of Edna (nee Curtis) for 63 years. Loving father of Cynthia Sampson of Oakville and Rosemary Sampson (James Mathers) of Halifax. Proud grandfather of his granddaughter Jennifer and his great-grandson Andre. Nic enjoyed life to the fullest. Having travelled much of the world, he was also an avid gardener and active member of the Oakville Horticultural Society. He gave much to the community, volunteering for over twenty years with Meals on Wheels and the St. John's therapy dog program. In earlier years he was a keen cricketer with the Oakville Cricket Club. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to The Ian Anderson House for their care and compassion. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to Ian Anderson House or the Parkinson Society would be appreciated by the family.
