SOPER, Jellicoe Beatty "Jeffrey"Peacefully at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on Sunday, February 11, 2007 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Anne (nee McCloud). Loving father of Stephen Soper and his wife Joy, Angela Lukowski and her husband Mark, Christopher Soper and his wife Vivian and Valerie Cant and her husband Norman. Proud grandfather of Ken, Elaine, Brent, Liana, Trevor and Kathryn. Jeffrey was retired from the Ford Motor Company. He was a veteran of WWII serving with the 8th Army in Sicily, Italy and N. Africa (one of Monty's Desert Rats). He was a member of St. Christopher's Church and a past member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #551. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service will be held at St. Christopher's Anglican Church, 662 Guelph Line, Burlington on Thursday, February 15, 2007 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital Foundation, Heart and Stroke Foundation or Alzheimer Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
