That's the message the Oakville Community Foundation (OCF) wants to spread by encouraging residents to take part in the second annual Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) Day on Nov. 9. "The purpose of the day is three-fold, to highlight the acts of kindness that take place around our town, to get people out of their comfort zone and look for ways to be kind to others, and to retain our excellent town spirit," said Rusty Baillie, OCF CEO, during a RAK Day launch at the Oak Park Neighbourhood Centre's new 2200 Sawgrass Dr. location, last week. Julia Hanna, chair of Oakville Chamber of Commerce, an RAK Day sponsor, was also present at the launch.
