e Thieves go on shopping spree Halton police are asking for the public's help in locating the suspects responsible for stealing a credit card from a vehicle on Lyndhurst Drive last week. Police said between dinner hour on Wednesday, Oct. 17, and the morning of Thursday, Oct. 18, someone went into the open garage of a Lyndhurst Drive home and stole an American Express credit card from an unlocked vehicle. Between 11 a.m. and noon on the Thursday, the stolen credit card had been used at five businesses in Oakville and Mississauga, including one Best Buy store, two Home Depot locations and two Future Shop stores. Surveillance footage from the businesses allegedly shows two suspects making purchases with the stolen credit card. The first suspect is a white male in his late 20s to early 30s, of average height and build, with short brown hair and a full beard. He wore a dark hoodie sweatshirt, jeans and a greenish/brown-and-yellow ball cap. The second suspect is a white male in his late 20s to early 30s, of average height and build, with short dark hair. He was clean shaven, and wore sunglasses, a dark hat, pants and coat with a white logo on the back. The suspects' vehicle was a beige, four-door, 2000-2001 Toyota Camry, with alloy rims and a sunroof.
