The Halton Region Health Department now has a team of family health nurses ready to provide you with comprehensive, research-based information, local support and counselling. The service is available when you dial 311 or 905-825-6000. Halton Region's customer service representatives will get you in touch with one of seven nurses--Hilary (pictured to the right), Devon, Cindy, Nicole, Kirsty, Andrea, and Tamara--on topics such as mental health, safety and injury prevention, alcohol and drug use, overall health and wellness. This team also services the telephone support for HaltonParents, where local parents can get advice and support about their children no matter their age ­ from pregnancy to raising teenagers.
