The holiday season is about to get a little sweeter as the Canadian Cancer Society, Halton Unit launches it newest fundraising initiative -- Fashionably Delicious. The afternoon-tea inspired event, set for Nov. 25, will help support vital cancer research and community services funded by the Canadian Cancer Society. "We are so pleased to be bringing Fashionably Delicious to the Oakville community," Lisa Dale, fundraising co-ordinator, said in a press release. "This will be a great event to gather your family and friends for an afternoon to celebrate the holiday season. There will be something for everyone to enjoy." Those who attend will be able to sample tea, sweets and desserts from local retailers, as well as take part in a Festive Fashions workshop.
