Beloved wife of the late John Harley Hamilton. Devoted mother of Richard and Patricia (Richard Winter). Loving grandmother of Victoria Winter (Curt Harnett) and Andrew Winter (Allana). Affectionate great grandmother of Olivia Harnett and Alyssa, Aspen and Adriana Winter. Marion obtained her BA from the University of Toronto in 1937 and married in the same year. She and her family moved from Toronto to Oakville in 1944 where she established many life-long friendships and participated wholeheartedly in social and community activities. She belonged to the Oakville Golf Club, the Oakville Curling Club, the May Court Club and a charter member of the University Women's Club of Oakville. A memorial service will be held at St. Jude's Anglican Church, 160 William Street, Oakville on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 2pm. If desired, donations may be made to the Oakville Hospital Foundation or to St. Jude's Anglican Church.
