Even though Garth Webb is still a new school, it has many great achievements in clubs and sports. GWSS has many teams in which student can be involved, including basketball, football, volleyball, field hockey and cross country to name a few. Sports teams are important to help students become physically active and help promote a healthy lifestyle. Many of these sports help the students learn about teamwork -- a skill students need for a successful future ON because we will need to be able to work well with others in a work environment. Our teams have won many games and tournaments that have established a positive reputation for the new school. They have made a positive impact on the school with their great skills. We are also looking forward to the winter and spring sports seasons. Students looking for something AS SEEN O N CHCH TV beyond athletics can participate in one or more of our school clubs, such as yearbook club, student council, social justice, mathletes, band and drama club. Every student has their own skill and abilities for which these clubs are designed, helping them develop their skills to use in classes or the future. Clubs help promote a great environment in which a student can improve life skills and provide opportunity to try something new and become more socially involved. While GWSS has opened with many positive opportunities for our students, it also faces challenges. GWSS has opened with Grades 9 and 10 only and has a small staff. But as GWSS continues to grow, we will have more students and staff members to operate these extra-curricular activities. GWSS has had great success opening a brand new school where students can be involved. Students feel pride in being the first to join these extra-curriculars and set traditions for future students. As students of GWSS, we should all encourage each other to join these activities to make our high school years the very best. AS SEEN CITYLINE CLIP AND SAVE No Mo' Tax!
