It's beginning to sound a lot like Christmas in Oakville Celtic Christmas The Oakville Celtic Fiddle Orchestra is inviting the community to celebrate Christmas with a musical night on Friday (Dec. 7). The group will play its Christmas concert at St. Cuthbert's Anglican Church, 1541 Oakhill Dr. The orchestra comprises of more than 30 members and performs traditional Celtic music from Scotland, Ireland and Cape Breton, N.S. The audience will be treated to a 75-voice choir and a full orchestra for the performances. The choir will be joined by young soloists: Melanie Conly (soprano), Heidi Jost (mezzo soprano), Michael P. Taylor (tenor) and Jeremy Ludwig (bass-baritone). David Bowser will conduct.
